Road Trip

Cash is the newest member of our family. We have had him since the middle of July. He was rescued from a puppy mill and then we adopted him from the family because they couldn't keep up with his growing demands. Coulter has always wanted a Boxer so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to test our skills. However, it has been much more challenging than I had originally expected. He gets complimented everywhere we go on being a very handsome dog.

When we first brought Cash home he got sick and threw up all over the back seat. I walked him the few remaining blocks to the house. Then the next time I sat in the back to help calm him down and he threw up on me! Needless to say I haven't ridden in the back with him since. Yesterday we had a family gathering at the Farmhouse in Harvard,  Michigan. We decided it would be a good idea to take Cash with us since our neighbors have been complaining about him barking all day while we are gone. We were prepared for the worst but after about an hour or so he finally settled in and took a nap. He even seems to enjoy riding in the car now!

At the farmhouse we discovered Aunt Sharon has some cows and chickens. At first Cash was scared but that didn't last long. It was a nice visit but I think I would have gone crazy if Hannah and Dad hadn't helped by playing with him and taking him for walks around the yard.

While Cash was occupied with Dad we were able to play a few games ourselves. Ninja  is one of Coulter's favorites.

Overall it was a very nice day trip and we were very happy Cash never got sick!
