Thanksgiving 2011

Coulter and I drove down to Muncie, IN late Wednesday night. We visited briefly with family before going to bed. We decided to get up early and go to Meijer by 5:30 to purchase a new camera. Normally, Coulter takes his time getting out of bed but he had no problem getting up that morning! He was pretty excited to get his hands on our new Canon Rebel T3. Fortunately, we were the only ones crazy enough to be there so early as they only had one available for the special. We went back to the house, opened the camera and went back to bed. When we got up a couple hours later the battery was charged and Coulter was able to play to his hearts content.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to eat but I was pleasantly surprised! I couldn't seem to get enough Turkey which was really interesting considering I haven't been able to eat much meat lately. We relaxed and enjoyed the visit with family. Eric, Lesley, Peter, Lindsay, Coulter and I played Settlers of Catan. It was a fun game! Later the family put on a play written by Jodi (age 7). It was pretty cute. We decided to stay the night and leave early Friday morning so Coulter could get to work on time.
 Ryan's Stuffed Mushrooms
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, veggies, salad and rolls!

Saturday was our second Thanksgiving day feast at Paula's house. We had a nice visit and played lots of games. I creamed Paula, Esther and Jeremiah at Dutch Blitz! Coulter documented the day by taking lots of pictures!
